Freebridge Community Housing is the not-for-profit, Registered Social Landlord set up to receive the Large Scale Voluntary Transfer of the housing stock of the Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. We are an Industrial and Provident organisation, with charitable aims and are registered with the Tenant Services Authority. Freebridge was constituted specifically to receive the transfer of almost 7,000 homes from the Council in response to the outcome of tenant consultation undertaken through an options appraisal, offer document and subsequent ballot in November 2004.
This ballot recorded 77% of voting tenants in favour of stock transfer to Freebridge Community Housing and the transfer was agreed on 3rd April 2006.
