Eastern Procurement

Eastern Procurement is a consortium established through the Efficiency Challenge Fund to improve the procurement of housing repairs and maintenance.

The origins of the concept were formed through the development of joint client arrangements between Freebridge Community Housing and North Norfolk Housing Trust (now Victory Housing Trust). The consortium to date comprises 8 member Registered Social Landlords located across North Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk.

The objective of the arrangement is to create efficiencies through collaborative working and sharing best practice. It is a real example of a number of associations working together with constructors to ensure that they can generate the benefits of high volume activity whilst remaining independent.
