Hemingway Reveals Vision for Hillington Square to 'Lift Spirits'
Residents of Hillington Square in King's Lynn have been told to think about what would constitute their 'dream home' by the top international designer who has been commissioned to 're-imagine' their homes, when he met more than 150 of them at an event which formed part of a 'Big Ideas Day' held on 25th May.





12 New Homes for Great Massingham
"Four years after the creation of Freebridge Community Housing we are pleased to be able to announce the launch of the Great Massingham scheme," said Freebridge Chief Executive, Tony Hall. It signals the first rural exception site housing development for Freebridge, which is a real milestone and builds on earlier success at North Lynn, Downham Market and Upwell.


Iconic Designer Commissiond to 'Re-imagine' Hillington Square
Designer Wayne Hemingway, creator of the iconic Red or Dead fashion label, and now an urban designer specialising in affordable and social housing, has been commissioned by Freebridge Community Housing to "re-imagine" Hillington Square, the 1960s development of 320 flats and maisonettes right in the centre of King's Lynn. www.hillingtonsquare.co.uk


Freebridge Community Fund - Applications Sought
The Freebridge Grass Roots Fund will give small grants of up to 500 pounds to support community and voluntary activity that addresses the needs of communities within West Norfolk, and which supports community self-help. Priority will be given to projects that impact on the Association's tenants.




Help where it's needed: Community safety gets mobile
Police and community safety officers will now be able to do even more to help improve community safety, thanks to the launch of a new mobile unit.
The community safety vehicle, complete with state-of-the-art CCTV equipment, allows a flexible approach to safety surveillance and crime reduction.














Credit Union for Freebridge Tenants
Freebridge Community Housing is working with Norfolk Credit Union Ltd to ensure their tenants have access to safe savings and low cost loans. The aim is to encourage Freebridge tenants to save what they can and give them access to affordable loans and protect them from high cost doorstep lenders and loan sharks. [01/05]


Freebridge Leads the Way on Diversity
Freebridge Community Housing, the largest Social Landlord in West Norfolk, is the first Housing Association in the East of England to become a Stonewall Diversity Champion. Stonewall's Diversity Champions programme is the employers' forum on sexual orientation issues in the Workplace.
