The 'Right to Repair'

Under Housing Law (Section 96 of the Housing Act 1985), you have the right to have certain repairs which are Freebridge's responsibility as landlord carried out within set timescales - these have been considered when Freebridge's own above repair timescales have been set. If any of these qualifying 'Right to Repair' defects are not completed within their legal timescale, you can request us to appoint another contractor to complete the repair job at no cost to you. If the second contractor then also fails to complete the repair on time, you may be entitled to financial compensation.
