Supporting People Grant

If you live in a Sheltered Scheme with the support of a scheme manager, or your property is connected to a community alarm system, there will be a charge for these services.

There is a Government, 'Supporting People Grant' available to cover the costs of such charges which you are automatically entitled to if you receive Housing Benefit.

You may also apply to Norfolk County Council for a means test to be conducted, in order to see if you are eligible for the grant due to your financial circumstances.
