The Tenant Academy
The Academy was developed in order to provide opportunities for Freebridge tenants to increase their skills and confidence. We were also very keen to provide free training which would help to improve communication between Freebridge and its tenants and within communities.
Working in partnership with The College of West Anglia, we produced a programme which included computer skills, desktop publishing and digital photography.
More recently we have introduced ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) to improve communication with our new and growing communities.
We are also currently working with the college to include 'Home Improvements' and 'Garden Improvements' in a future Tenant Academy programme.
