Changes To Privacy Notices

Freebridge's Privacy Notices for Leaseholders, Tenants, and Non-Tenant Anti-Social Behaviour Service Users have recently been updated. The key changes to the Leaseholder Privacy Notice are:

• “Contact and respond to utility providers and agents acting on their behalf who are looking to reconcile gas/electricity accounts of previous and current tenants” has been added to the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

• “Tracking the location of our employees whilst visiting you – this is to ensure their personal safety and security” has been added to the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

• “Those who audit our accounts and/or compliance with our processes and regulatory standards or good practice will see your data as is necessary to the audit” has been added to the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

• References to the use of Experian have been removed.

• The words, “Where you or another person is homeless or is at risk of becoming homeless within the next 56 days” have been added under “To report or share information with agencies where it is believed you or another person’s vital interests are at risk”, which is in the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

The key changes to the Tenant Privacy Notice are:

• The words “and agents acting on their behalf” have been added to the following sentence, “Contact and respond to utility providers and agents acting on their behalf who are looking to reconcile gas/electricity accounts of previous and current tenants”, which is in the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

• References to using Experian have been removed.

• The words, “Where you or another person is homeless or is at risk of becoming homeless within the next 56 days” have been added under “To report or share information with agencies where it is believed you or another person’s vital interests are at risk”, which is in the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.

The key change to the Non-Tenant Anti-Social Behaviour Service Users Privacy Notice is:

• The words, “Where you or another person is homeless or is at risk of becoming homeless within the next 56 days” have been added to the list of ways that we might lawfully use your personal information.
