Freebridge Community Centre tree decorated by nursery children
04/12/20
Freebridge’s Providence Street Community Centre is looking festive thanks to the children of Giggles & Squiggles Nursery.
The youngsters spent days creating the hand-made decorations before hanging them on the tree outside the centre on Thursday 3rd December 2020. Working within their Covid-safe bubbles, the nursery staff were on hand to help them reach the higher branches!
Emma Thom, who runs the nursery said: We’re really thankful to the team at Providence Street for asking us to decorate their tree. It really was a privilege and the smiles and screeches from the children showed how much they enjoyed it!”
Giggles & Squiggles is based in part of the Providence Street Community Centre, while their sister site in North Lynn is based in part of Freebridge’s other Community Centre – the Discovery Centre.
