Placeshaping

Freebridge is proud to be a PlaceShaping organisation and part of how we shape the places around King’s Lynn & West Norfolk is through our community centres and the services they offer.

To find out more about our community centres in North Lynn, Hillington Square and Monks Close (Bircham Newton) click on the links below. They are ideal if you are looking for a space to hire for your community group or charity, sports club or event in King’s Lynn.

Our Community Caterer is also part of our PlaceShaping team. Sarah is out and about across King’s Lynn & West Norfolk supporting community initiatives that promote social inclusion, inspire healthy eating and reduce social isolation. She also offers buffets and event catering across the borough.

What is PlaceShaping?

PlaceShapers are a national network of community-based social housing providers and Freebridge are proud to be part of this group.

Along with the other members across the UK we have signed up to the following five principles:

  • Our residents and customers are at the heart of what we do and have genuine impact on our organisations.
  • We listen and provide more than just landlord services because we care about people and places.
  • We build homes that respond to the needs of the communities we serve.
  • Working collaboratively and actively with our local authorities and other local partners enables us to improve and shape places at both a strategic and operational level.
  • We are run by members, for members and are committed to a diverse, values-driven housing association sector.

Find out more about PlaceShaping here.

If you think the PlaceShapers at Freebridge could support your charity or community group to make King’s Lynn & West Norfolk an even better place to live then get in touch with us on 0553 667777 or placeshapers@freebridge.org.uk.
