In November 2023 we wrote to tenants in our sheltered schemes to let them know that we had made a self-referral to the First Tier Tribunal (FTT). This referral requests an independent review of the fairness of our fee setting for energy costs to those living within our sheltered accommodation.  

With the letter, we also shared a copy of our application for dispensation with the consultation period around the procurement of the energy contract.

The review has now moved forward, and the final decision of the tribunal will be uploaded to the tribunal website www.gov.uk/residential-property-tribunal-decisions on, or after 20th March 2024.

Below is a copy of the application directions which sets out the process that the review will follow over the coming months. This also includes a form for leaseholders/tenants in sheltered schemes to complete if you object to the application. The deadline for any response needs to be made by 21st February 2024.
