Taking part in consultations

We regularly run consultations to hear your views before we make decisions that affect your home, services and neighbourhoods.

Consultations are your chance to tell us what works, what doesn’t, and what you’d like us to do differently. Your feedback helps shape our plans, priorities and improvements.

What is a consultation?

A consultation is when we ask for your views on a specific topic - for example:

  • changes to a policy

  • improvements to a service

  • new ideas we’re exploring

  • things that matter in your community

We’ll explain what we’re asking about, why it matters, and how your feedback will be used.

How you can take part

You can get involved in different ways, including:

  • online surveys

  • drop-in sessions and events

  • group discussions

  • one-to-one conversations

  • community visits and ‘Out & About’ sessions

We try to offer more than one way to take part so everyone has the chance to have their say.

What happens to your feedback

We don’t ask for your views unless we’re prepared to listen.

After each consultation, we:

  • review all feedback

  • consider what can change and what can’t (and why)

  • share what we’ve heard

  • explain what we’re doing as a result

You’ll see this through You said, we did” updates on our website and in our communications.

Who can take part?

Any Freebridge customer can take part, you don’t need experience or special knowledge. We want to hear from people with different views and experiences so we can make better decisions for everyone.
