Freebridge was set up in 2006, to receive the transfer of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk’s housing stock. We now have over 7500 properties across west and north Norfolk, in addition to building new homes for social and affordable rent, and to support those who want to move into shared home ownership. What you’ll be doing:
· Strategic Data & Analytics Leadership: Lead the strategic development and operational delivery of data management, analytics, and performance reporting across Freebridge.
· Senior Stakeholder Partnership: Partner with senior leaders, Heads of Service, and Business Partners to align organisational priorities with scalable data solutions.
· Data Architecture & Engineering Delivery: Design, implement, and oversee modern data architecture and engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Power BI, and related technologies.
· Data Quality, Governance & Standards: Champion data quality, governance, and standards, supporting frameworks such as ISO8000, DAMA, and the Housing Data Standard.
· Advanced Analytics & AI Enablement: Develop advanced analytics capabilities including predictive analytics and, working with third parties, AI-enabled insights.
· Team Leadership & Capability Development: Lead and develop a high-performing data, analytics, and low-code development team.
· Executive Performance Insight & Reporting: Provide high-quality performance insight to Executive, Board, and Committees to support evidence-based decision making.
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for an experienced data engineering and analytics leader who can combine technical expertise with strategic influence. You’ll bring:
· Extensive experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
· Expert knowledge of Microsoft Fabric, SQL, Power BI, DAX, and at least one additional language such as Python or R.
· Strong data architecture, orchestration, modelling, and governance expertise.
· Proven ability to lead teams, manage workloads, and coach technical professionals.
· Experience presenting complex performance and analytical insight to senior stakeholders.
· A collaborative, customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
