Ways to pay your rent

  • You can call us on 03332 404 444 and choose option 2 to make a payment.

You will need either your tenancy reference, leasehold reference, or invoice reference to hand. Please have a pen and paper handy to write down the authorisation code that confirms your payment.
  • Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay; it’s quick and simple, and keeps you in control. You can pay by Direct Debit weekly, fortnightly, 4-weekly or monthly on any day of the week/month. If your rent amount is small or if you only pay for service charges, then you can even set up a quarterly or annual Direct Debit.

To set up a Direct Debit simply telephone us on 03332 404 444, and choose option 3 to speak to our Income Team – we’ll just need your bank details and we’ll do the rest.
  • You can pay by cash, cheque, credit or debit card at any Post Office or PayPoint outlet.
  • You can also pay by standing order. If you wish to pay by standing order our bank details are as follows:
    • Account name: Freebridge Community Housing
    • Account number: 66560683
    • Account sort code: 53 - 61 - 38
You will need to supply your rent reference to make payments in this way and this can be found on your payment card.

How is my rent money spent?

We’re a not-for-profit organisation that currently has some of the lowest rents in the area - and our costs are going up in line with inflation.

That means it costs more for us to effectively carry out your repairs and invest in new skills that will improve your customer experience.

The below pie chart shows you how we typically utilise each pound of your rent money, but we are planning to spend even more on home improvements and maintenance from April 2023 onwards when your increase begins.
