Once your home has been identified for a bathroom replacement, we’ll write to you to confirm this. After that, our contractor will contact you to arrange a visit to your home to help design your new bathroom.
If we don’t already have a valid asbestos survey for your property, we’ll arrange one before work starts. If asbestos is found, it will be safely removed during the works if required.
During the contractor’s visit, you’ll have the opportunity to be involved in the design of your bathroom. If you have any special requirements, please let the contractor know at this stage and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.
They will then produce a bathroom plan showing the layout. They will leave you with a copy of the plan for your reference.
You’ll also be able to choose from several bathroom options. Please see below to view the available styles and finishes.
Vinyl flooring (bathroom)
Shower panels on the walls
Altro flooring (wetroom)

What if I want to choose my own paint colour or other components?
We will paint in the colour of your choice and fit any other component e.g. radiator or towel rail as longs as it complies. You would need to purchase these yourself and would be required to sign a disclaimer to confirm that you are aware that if repairs are needed Freebridge will not replace like-for-like.
What happens next?
Once your design meeting has taken place, the contractor will order your bathroom and confirm via letter and phone call when they have an install date.
What should I expect?
Our bathroom upgrades can take up to 10 working days to complete. The contractors will strip out the existing bathroom, including the flooring, then complete any works needed to make good, so they have a blank canvas to fit your new bathroom. You will not be able to use the bathroom at this time, although we will leave you with a working toilet at the end of each day and should this not be possible, we will provide a portaloo.
What do you, the customer, need to do?
Will the contractors be in my property all day every day?
No, you will be informed each day of who is attending, an approximate time of arrival and what work will be taking place. There may be some days when no-one attends, for example, to give plastering time to dry out.
What could cause a delay?
Whilst we will work to keep any delays to a minimum, these could be things like:
Once your bathroom is complete one of our surveyors will arrange a visit to check that everything has been completed to a high standard, this may mean that the contractors re-visit to complete any snagging.
