🏡 What's the Consultation About?

It's all about enhancing homes and services for individuals residing in social housing. The Regulator is introducing updated consumer standards for housing providers. These standards ensure that landlords are accountable to their tenants, prioritizing the tenants' needs.

But there's more to the story...

The existing consumer standards also align with the Social Housing White Paper's Charter for Social Housing Residents. This alignment tackles crucial issues within the social housing sector. To support landlords in achieving these standards, the Regulator has created a Code of Practice for consumer matters. It's like a guidebook, helping both tenants and landlords navigate the new standards and stay on the right path.

We've designed the consultation to accommodate different time commitments: 20 minutes, 60 minutes, or an entire afternoon.

Your participation matters – completing our consultation survey provides valuable insights before we forward everything to the Regulator.
