We're already experiencing a very warm summer across west and north Norfolk and the rest of the country, with temperatures having passed 30 degrees centigrade at times.

While it's great that the sun is shining, it's also important that everybody follows best advice when it comes to heatwaves.

Indeed, during heatwaves and prolonged periods of hot and dry weather, please be aware that Freebridge Community Housing advises against having open bonfires, as well as the use of garden incinerators, fire pits and barbecues.
