Valingers Road car park update

Please note that, from 25th September 2026, a section of the Valingers Road car park at Hillington Square in King's Lynn will be closed to vehicles.
The area that will be affected is secured via Heras fencing and that no vehicles should be parked within this area while the closure takes affect. Pedestrian access will, however, remain available where it is safe to do so.
Alternative parking
Alternative parking is available within the remaining car park areas, so please ensure that your vehicle is moved before the closure date and is not subsequently parked within the area identified for the works.
Why is the car park closing?
The closure is necessary to allow demolition and associated works to be undertaken safely. The area will need to be secured with Heras fencing to establish a safe working perimeter and protect residents, visitors and the construction team.
Please be aware that any vehicle remaining within the fenced-off area after the closure may be removed by Freebridge Community Housing.
We will make every effort to provide notice before this happens, but vehicles must not remain within the restricted area once the fencing is in place.
Please note that use of the Valingers Road car park is at the discretion of Freebridge Community Housing and parking within the area does not provide a permanent or guaranteed right to a parking space.
