We’re here to help you pay your rent
2026-10-19
We know that household costs continue to put pressure on many customers. Paying rent on time helps protect your home and enables Freebridge to continue investing in services for customers and communities.
Your rent is due in advance, whether you pay weekly or monthly. This means your account should not have an overdue balance.
If you are worried about paying your rent, please contact us as soon as possible. The sooner you speak to us, the more we can do to help.
Our team can explain your rent account, discuss an affordable payment plan and connect you with other support. This could include help with benefits, budgeting, debt advice or increasing your income.
You can also get free and confidential advice from StepChange Debt Charity or Citizens Advice. Online benefits calculators, such as entitledto and Turn2us, can help you check whether you could claim extra support.
Direct Debit is the easiest and most reliable way to pay your rent. You can also pay by BACS if this works better for you.
If rent remains unpaid and we cannot agree a way forward, we may have to take further action. This could include going to court. We want to avoid this, so please keep talking to us.
If you are struggling now, or think you may struggle soon, contact our Customer Experience team. We will listen and help you take the next step.
